Church event

In my church we recently obtained a new building so we invited many people as well as special guests. I was asked to decorate the place where we would have lunch.  I Google some great ideas and combined them all together!  I saw similar centerpieces for weddings.  Our theme colors were red and white. I painted the tree branches black and glued paper flowers. For the final touch I printed out a biblical verse ( 1 kings 8:29) and glued it to red ribbon. I also bought a sack of salt and voila!!
As like in any Latino party they were gone! Everyone loved them!

 

Slippers

I am not a crochet pro but I love cold weather specially when I get to wear scarves, hats, boots, gloves and big jackets! So I decided to come up with a pattern for a slipper boot. I just kinda started crocheting randomly not actually thinking  I was going to crochet this awesome pattern. I mean I wanted to try and make it, but I think I did pretty good. My inspiration was the UGG boots. I wanted something cute, easy to and comfortable. Anyways this is what I came up with the Slipper Boots. (click here for pattern)
